Manage users: what are the available user roles?

Account Administrators can create, edit, and delete users. 

 

This support article explains the different roles that an Account Administrator can give to new users.

 

Note: The role "Videoconference Clinical Supervisor" is only available by request by an Account Administrator. Please email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

 

Roles can be combined in any combination, but all account holders are required to have at least the "Videoconference Session Participant" role. Only the Account Administrator and Videoconference Session Host roles require an additional user license.

Account Administrator

Role requires a user license. Account Administrators 

 

Videoconference Session Host

Role requires a user license. Videoconference Session Hosts

 

Videoconference Session Participant

Videoconference Session Participants

  • can join sessions ("enter the waiting room") of sessions scheduled by other Users
  • can propose sessions through Virtual Clinic (if enabled)
  • can manage relevant notification settings
  • can view recordings shared with them

Note: ALL account holders are required to have at least this role. 

 

Videoconference Session Scheduler For Other Hosts

Videoconference Session Schedulers For Other Hosts

  • can schedule sessions for any "Videoconference Session Host" user on the organization account they have been granted access to (if no restrictions on the account, schedulers have access to all hosts)
  • can view the full calendar (i.e., all planned sessions by any user in the organization account)
  • can manage contacts for any "Videoconference Session Host" user on the organization account
  • can view session history for any user on the organization account
  • can view, sign, and download e-documents for any host user they have been given access to (if no restrictions on the account, schedulers have access to all hosts)

 

Clinical Supervisor

If enabled for an account, the Clinical Supervisor

  • can view Session Notes for any "Videoconference Session Host" User on the organization account
  • can view and delete Recordings for any "Videoconference Session Host" User on the organization account (if HIPAA-compliant Cloud Recording is enabled)
  • can view, download, sign, or delete E-Documents for any "Videoconference Session Host" User on the organization account
  • can create and delete E-Document templates to be used by any "Videoconference Session Host" User on the organization account
  • can manage contacts for any "Videoconference Session Host" user on the organization account
  • can add/edit/delete Custom Links
  • can view all recordings made by other users on the organization account (if HIPAA-compliant Cloud Recording is enabled)
  • can manage all recordings on the organization account (if HIPAA-compliant Cloud Recording is enabled), such as deletion date, sharing, and recording titles
  • can view session history, login history, and queues report for any user on the organization account
